Consultation

We take a highly personalized and conservative approach to dermal filler, creating a treatment plan that starts small and can continue to naturally build as your aesthetic preferences evolve over time.

Injections

If you are comfortable moving forward with your first session of injections at Shea, we can often treat you the same day! The injection process itself takes about 60 minutes, including the waiting period for a topical numbing solution to set.

Results

You’ll immediately see the additional volume from filler, but it may take a few days for the filler to settle into its final shape. From there, your results can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on the placement and your general lifestyle.

Combinable Treatments

While dermal filler can do wonders for volume loss and contouring, it does not inherently address the quality and clarity of the skin. Many of our patients love our LaseMD Ultra laser because it helps to permanently erase pigmentation issues and tighten or smooth your skin naturally.

By removing tiny cores of skin, micro-coring stimulates your body’s natural healing response, resulting in noticeable skin tightening across the treated area. For optimal results, this treatment should not be performed during the same appointment as dermal fillers. If you’re planning to combine micro-coring with dermal fillers, we typically recommend scheduling your micro-coring treatment first to allow your skin to fully heal before starting your filler regimen.

We often combine dermal fillers with Botox, Dysport, or Daxxify to achieve a more comprehensive, natural-looking rejuvenation. While Botox works to smooth dynamic wrinkles caused by facial expressions, fillers restore lost volume and enhance contours. Our philosophy is to use a gentle, methodical technique to enhance your natural beauty. Rather than rushing to achieve a drastic change, we build volume gradually—adding just the right amount to give you the desired look without the “overdone” appearance often seen in photos.

The Signs of Aging

There are several common signs of aging that we can treat with dermal fillers.
