The ellacor® procedure should not be performed on patients that are pregnant, nursing, or those with a history of keloids, bleeding disorders, allergies to anesthesia, or autoimmune conditions that may affect the treatment outcome.
It should not be used in patients that have skin cancer, open wounds/sores, or facial implants in the treatment area.
Patients should not take high doses of anticoagulants or NSAIDS for 14 days pre-treatment, or have had cosmetic fillers in the treatment area during the previous six months.
